In Whoosh!, I capture a handful of autumn leaves caught mid-flight, twisting and tumbling across an open blue sky. Their curled forms and warm earthy tones suggest the movement of wind even though the moment itself has been frozen on canvas.

Part of my Nature’s Rhythms series, this painting celebrates one of nature’s simplest performances—the brief, unpredictable dance of leaves carried by the changing season.
