In Floating, autumn leaves drift across an expansive, quiet field, each caught at a different point in its descent. Their changing colors trace the passage from green to deep red and brown, turning a familiar seasonal moment into a meditation on time and transformation.

Part of my Nature’s Rhythms series, this painting is about surrendering to movement and change. The leaves do not resist the wind—they simply allow themselves to be carried, finding beauty in the journey between where they were and where they will eventually land.
